Our team members have successfully launched groundbreaking software as a service (SaaS) ventures and innovative advertising and media firms. They excel in navigating the complexities of advertising conglomerates and have a proven track record of crafting scalable solutions for enterprise-level applications.

With a background in both technical and creative realms, our team is well-equipped to innovate and adapt in the fast-paced digital landscape. VEIL CO-FOUNDERS

Brian Handrigan

Co-founder and CEO
As Co-Founder and CEO, Brian is expanding the intersecting technology and communication for publishers, marketers, and advertisers through VEIL’s data and software-as-a-service offerings. Blending his passions for mathematics, writing, and problem-solving, Handrigan built a career on successfully developing and executing creative strategies for customers. He worked early in his career with companies like Rolex, Barclays, and TD Ameritrade, was co-architect of Walmart’s first website, and the first online yellow page directory and search engine. 
Brian attended the United States Naval Academy and Rhode Island College, earning a BA in 19th Century American Literature. He went on to Fontbonne University to earn his MBA in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition, Brian holds three award-winning patents, belongs to the Pipeline Fellowship, speaks regularly at US and International conferences, and carries more than twenty years of experience to unleash the power of tv and digital working in tandem.

Jeff Linihan

Co-founder and President
As Co-Founder and President of VEIL, Jeff combines a wealth of entrepreneurial and legal experience with added emphasis on leadership, strategy, fundraising, and culture. While his early legal career was spent representing companies in employment and general commercial matters, his entrepreneurial ventures revolve primarily around technology in the advertising and marketing industries.  He’s actively involved in the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO), where he’s served various leadership positions on a local, regional, and global level; as well as President of the St. Louis Chapter. Jeff has successfully formed multiple companies, including Yellowtop, a niche cleaning product business; Recursive Labs, an enterprise B2B SaaS company in the online collaboration space; Next90, a technology enabled online marketing company; and, Lean Media, a technology enabled programmatic digital media business. Jeff earned a BA from Franklin & Marshall College and attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis (JD, 2000).




Steven Saslow

Executive Chairman

Steven A Saslow, a media, information, and technology entrepreneur, has over four decades of experience commercializing and scaling high potential media platforms. His career includes pioneering sales, marketing and programming efforts for Group W Satellite Communications, NBC and SJS/SFX Entertainment; leading a watermark technology company called Verance; and founding two multimedia companies, ThinkVisual and Rosebud Media. 


James Dickman

CTO

James Dickman, Chief Technology Officer of VEIL, manages the company’s Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform, ensures business growth and business value delivery to customers. James has served as chief architect of the platform since its inception as a proof of concept in 2018. Spending his early career as a software architect, full stack engineer and technology entrepreneur, he started his first company in 1999 at age 19. An online business filings service that competed for years with LegalZoom. After a decade working with tech startups in the legal, healthcare, and business sectors, James took a consulting role at TDK Technologies where he hired, mentored and led engineering teams on over 50 projects.                                                                                       His expertise includes analytics, cloud computing, AI and machine learning, software development, and business intelligence systems. In 2016, Dickman co-founded a St. Louis based tech startup venture building firm called Sigla and has since launched dozens of technology products, including web and mobile apps, cloud services, big data systems, and ML/AI based solutions. Sigla began working with VEIL in early 2018, with James coming on full time as VEIL’s CTO that summer.


Samantha Marlowe

SVP of Sales

Senior Vice President of Sales Samantha Marlowe has over twenty years of experience in leadership, development, and revenue growth within the advertising technology, media research, data, and SaaS industries. Beginning as a startup entrepreneur at Media Intelligence Group, she held leadership roles at: SQAD LLC (now Guideline) as VP of Regional Sales & VP of Business Development, as well as VP of Strategic Sales at a data-driven adtech startup called Postie. Marlowe’s expertise combines acute business acumen, experience in sales strategy & analysis with effective communicative & managerial techniques.


Jason Wargel

CAO

Jason Wargel, VEIL’s Chief Administrative Officer, has held multiple positions in the tech industry since 2002. He began his career as an Management Information Systems (MIS) Co-op at Alco Controls before moving to Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Technical Support Analyst. From 2004 to 2007, Wargel worked as Project Manager for Citi as well as TDK Technologies, where he was promoted to Director of Project Solutions and again to Sr. Solutions Delivery Manager. That same year, Jason was appointed Project Manager at MasterCard. In 2016 he became the Chief Operating Officer of Sigla, LLC, a St. Louis-based start up studio and a year later held the same position at Anchor- Your Friend w/ a Boat. Wargel served as Advocado’s VP of Operations before the company rebranded to VEIL.


Charlie Eaton

Chief Design Officer

Charlie Eaton brings an array of experience to the table at VEIL, where he currently serves as Chief Design Officer. He began his career managing intranet and extranet services for small businesses as a System Administrator at TechGuard Security. In 2009, Eaton worked as a photographer at Open Sky Studios and later as a User Experience (UX) Team of One at TDK Technologies, where he was responsible for garnering business and user needs, transforming product requirements into user-focused and intuitive web, mobile, and product experiences. From 2016 to 2018, Charlie held the role of Chief Design Operator for both Sigla, LLC and Shoptimize, as well as User Experience Architect and Interaction Designer at Maritz Motivation Solutions. Prior to VEIL’s rebranding from Advocado, he worked as VP of Product Design before being appointed Chief Design Officer.


Harold Geller

SVP of Product Strategy

Harold S Geller, SVP of Product Management at VEIL, is an industry-recognized expert in ad tech, media planning, digital workflow, interoperability & metadata. Geller has held senior management roles at Verance, MindShare, and AD-ID. Harold has held positions in media buying, planning, finance, and technology for MindShare, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, McCann Erickson, the defunct Ted Bates and Foster Advertising. Harold has served as Board Member for the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) and Chairman of the 4As Media Technology Committee.


Jennifer Tarsitano

VP of Customer Experience

Jennifer Tarsitano has over 25 years of experience in marketing and customer experience roles. Jennifer began their career in 1995 as VP, Marketing Director at Digitas. In 2006, they joined Nacel Open Door as Director of Management & Development. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Consultant & General Manager at Strategic Communication Lab, Inc. Jennifer then moved to GraMATR, LLC as VP, Account Director. In 2011, they joined Allscope Direct as VP, Marketing. In 2015, they took on the role of Director Of Market Strategy at Nacel Open Door, Inc. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed VP of Customer Experience at Advocado.


Paula Pfeiffer

CFO

Paula Pfeiffer has a long career history of senior and executive financial positions in CRM and data security software, healthcare, R & D, and the media industries over the past 25 years,  most recently as VP of Finance and Operations for Rosebud Media, LLC. She holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University and an MBA/ Finance from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Paula's expertise in financial management and leadership has led to her role aa VEIL's Chief Financial Officer.
